Mac Os: Turn on your firewall

My Mac was seemingly slowing down when it came to the internet. I tried speed tests and everything was reported ok. I then found out that my MAC was constantly being attacked or at least attempted to be connected to.

I didn't realize that MAC has a built in Firewall that was completely open.

I changed this to "Set access for specific services and applications"

I checked the log and now the requests are being denied. Good! and my bandwidth seems to have suddenly expanded. Great! I was still being attempted to conect frequently so I requested a new DHCP address from my ISP.

No More attacks...for now.
